How to increase traffic faster and turn visitors into cash
What you weren't told about your "free" traffic program ...
Chances are, you're reading this because you have enrolled in a viral traffic building system. Maybe, it had a different name, but, it was a system where you set your brower's home page to a "Special URL" and everytime you visit that URL you get a credit which is used to send traffic to your favorite web page.
Now you're about to have some things revealed to you about these traffic builders that you WEREN'T told when you joined. Once you know these you're one step closer to being a power-user of these tools.

So, what do you need to know about viral traffic building systems [VTBS] ?
First, there is more than one system and you could be using more than one.
You remember when you enrolled you were told to set your browser's HOME PAGE to a certain URL which contains your special code identity?
Secret No. 1 is that these systems don't seem to care whether you come to it from your HOME PAGE, or in any other way. It's your code that determines whether you get the credit.
Try this: Go to your Home Page and bookmark that page. Now change your home page and close your browser. After you re-start your browser choose the bookmark to your former Home page and check to see if you got a credit for that visit. If you did, you now have proven that you can go to this site any time you want from a bookmark and get your credit.
Now subscribe to another VTBS and bookmark the site which is supposed to be your home page complete with code.
If new VTBS offers surface, and you want to join, just repeat this and you effectively multiply the already attractive traffic promises which these systems make.
Using this tactic, and making sure you visit these bookmarked sites at least once every day or so, will ensure that you are getting credits for the program.
Remember, that the key behind enrolling in the program is to allow yourself to be "sent" to other members' sites. If you (or others) cheat on this part, the whole system falls apart and is of no value to you or anyone else. What we're doing here is opening up the possibilitiy of participating in more than one program by using bookmarks for some of them instead of a home page.
You'll probably want to have one remain as your home page anyhow, simply to make it easier for yourself.

Secret No. 2 is that most people who come to your site from a VTBS have absolutely no interest -- NONE -- in what you have to offer on your site.
Does that surprise, or disappoint you?
It shouldn't really if you look at your own case and ask yourself why you joined the VTBS.
Are you interested in Aunt Jody's SugarFree Chocolate Covered Meat Balls? or Extra terrestrial Cough Drops? or yet another $47 dollar e-book on how to become a zillionaire in 90 seconds? Of course not, you have your own project and you just wanted to get more traffic to your site. No one is much different.
This is not bad news. It is good news ... no it is great, even FANTASTIC news. When you realize this, you can now start to study your site and find out what it is that your site has to offer that IS of interest to all or MOST of those other people who will randomly be sent to your site throught the same VTBS which you joined. Compare this to where you'd be if you were totally ignorant of this unpleasant fact. You'd be blissfully ignorant, happily receiving hundreds, maybe thousands of extra hits to your site and every one of them clicking onto to some other destination without even reading to the end or your first page.
It'll take some effort, some brainstorming, some determined thinking to come up with the right key, but once you have it you'll be miles ahead of the others users of VTBS who didn't make the effort.
